A Typical Day in Green Season – Watch the Video
What’s it really like visiting Panama in Green Season? It’s a question we often receive from our guests when they’re planning their vacations between May and November. They’re often unsure about the weather but there’s little reason to be.

The Green Season Experience
When it rains during Green Season, it’s most often only for a few hours in the afternoon or at night. That means warm, sunny mornings with plenty of time for rainforest adventures on the island, beach chilling or ocean excursions. The wildlife will still be out in full force too, and there can even be days where it doesn’t rain at all.
The rains here are “warm” and they come and go quickly. While they pass, you’ll have time for a super relaxing post-lunch nap in your luxury beachfront casita before emerging for a tropical cocktail at sundown and an open-air dinner by the beach.
Why You’ll Like Green Season
- If you appreciate lower international airfares
- If discounted room rates sound like a sweet escape
- If you want to experience the rainforest at its lushest
- If you prefer to see fewer guests on the island
